I’ve selected The Wonderful Story of Henry Sugar as a stand-in for all four of Wes Anderson’s Dahl adaptations, which I think would be best experienced as a collection in a theater. It’s disappointing Netflix isn’t making them available that way. I also want to mention Unrest, Unclenching the Fists, One Fine Morning, Love Life, Ferrari, Priscilla, Nobody’s Hero, and the final season of Succession. Apologies to those films, the Wiseman and Citarella especially, with which I’ve not yet caught up.

Writing from Brazil, the division between distributed and undistributed films feels very alien. I understand the logic of it for American readers, but I have to say that in my experience I see no hierarchy between films I’ve seen at festivals, at the commercial circuit, or through piracy.
