Jury duty: a panel of critics, programmers, and cinephiles rate Cannes' buzziest titles

As Cannes wrapped up last weekend with a reinvigorating bounty of new films, we asked a jury of critics, programmers, and cinephiles to weigh in on a selection of the festival’s significant titles. Participants included Carlos Valladares (critic), Giovanni Marchini Camia (critic and programmer, Locarno Film Festival), Isabel Sandoval (filmmaker), Isabel Stevens (production editor, Sight & Sound), Jonathan Romney (contributing editor, Film Comment), Jordan Cronk (critic and programmer, Acropolis Cinema), Manu Yáñez Murillo (contributing editor, Film Comment), Mark Asch (critic), Sarah Fonseca (critic).
