Participate in Film Comment’s 2012 Readers’ Poll

Are you thoughtless in your remarks?

Freddie Quell

Feeling like the best thing that came out of the movies in 2012 was Michael Haneke’s fake, cat-fart-powered Twitter account? Was Frankenweenie the most rewarding experience you had in a theater in 2012? Or do you believe in the power of film again after Django Unchained revealed how many not-so-secret racists are in your extended family?

Whatever the past 12 months of cinema held for you, all those moments will be lost in time like tears in rain . . . unless you participate in Film Comment’s 2012 Readers’ Poll. Send your ranked list of your top 10 films of 2012 to fcpoll [at] filmlinc.com no later than February 8, 2013. In addition to getting the chance to have your rants, raves, and comments published on the website, all participants will be automatically entered into a drawing to win their choice of DVDs from the Criterion Collection catalogue. So put down that orange juice and antifreeze cocktail you’ve been nursing all night and start typing already!

This story is part of the January-February 2013 issue of Film Comment.
